Dr. Vester Appiah.
The founder and Clinical Director, Dr. Vester Appiah, is a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Professional Counselor with a wealth of experience spanning over a decade. Her expertise lies in supporting individuals facing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, substance abuse, relationship issues, major life transitions, Crisis, spiritual dilemmas, and other complex mental health concerns.
Dr. Appiah’s academic journey is distinguished by her dedication to understanding and helping others. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University, followed by a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health. Driven by a passion for healing, she pursued a Doctor of Education with a specialization in Community Care and Counseling, focusing on Traumatology. Additionally, she holds a certification in pastoral counseling from Liberty University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Appiah has served diverse communities through a variety of settings, including residential facilities, outpatient clinics, and community-based services. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by collaboration, blending acceptance and change strategies to empower clients in achieving their personal goals.
Drawing from a rich tapestry of therapeutic techniques, Dr. Appiah employs an eclectic style that encompasses Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Her true passion lies in guiding her clients toward holistic mental and spiritual well-being, equipping them with a comprehensive plan to address and nurture their mental health, thus fostering personal growth and resilience.

Paul Angelucci
Paul Angelucci is a mental health counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Iona University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bryant University. He also completed supplemental coursework at Liberty University following his passion to deepen his understanding of faith-based counseling theories and practices. With over five years of experience supporting individuals in both residential and community settings, Paul is passionate about helping clients build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Paul’s areas of clinical interest include anxiety, life transitions, identity development, and relationship concerns. His counseling style is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, emphasizing the importance of meeting clients where they are. He integrates approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy to foster self-awareness, resilience, and long-term growth.

Hello! I’m excited to offer you a supportive space on your journey toward peace and mental wellness. As a Resident in Counseling, my passion lies in helping individuals find their way to a more fulfilling life through effective psychotherapeutic interventions.
My decade of experience as a first responder has given me a deep understanding of stress, resilience, and the unique challenges many individuals face. This background informs my empathetic, non-judgmental approach to counseling.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2023and am currently accepting new clients for teletherapy services. I utilize a range of evidence-based practices tailored to your specific needs, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy Practices.
These modalities allow me to help you understand and change challenging thought patterns, manage difficult emotions, and navigate the lasting effects of trauma. For those who desire it, I can also integrate faith-based counseling into our work.

Maria Michailidou
Maria Michailidou is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at South University, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA and is pursuing licensure as a professional counselor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transportation Management, and is a proud U.S. Army veteran who served as a Paratrooper, with extensive experience in leadership, organization, and client support. Her military service fostered discipline, empathy, and resilience, qualities that deeply shape her approach to counseling and therapeutic care.
Maria’s professional interests include trauma-informed care, anxiety management, and holistic wellness. She integrates mindfulness, yoga, and fitness into her therapeutic framework to support emotional balance and overall well-being. In addition to her counseling training, she holds certifications through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in personal training, yoga, and nutrition, allowing her to combine evidence-based mental health practices with physical health and wellness principles.
Dedicated to helping others build resilience and self-awareness, Maria aims to serve individuals and veterans seeking meaningful healing and growth. Her mission is to empower clients through compassion, mindfulness, and holistic strategies that foster lasting well-being and personal transformation.
Deborah Campusano
Deborah Negron Campusano is a seasoned bilingual Life Coach with a Master of Arts in Professional and Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sacred Heart University. Her counseling journey is deeply rooted in her early career in Early Childhood Education and her passion for understanding the human experience across different life stages. With over two decades of experience, Deborah has worked in various roles, including Therapeutic Case Manager, Substance Abuse Clinician, and Clinical Therapist, providing holistic, faith-based counseling that integrates the wisdom of God’s Word into practical solutions for life’s challenges.
Deborah’s approach is Christ-centered, focusing on helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their personal struggles through a Biblical lens. Deborah brings empathy, grace, and practical insights to her way of communicating with those she assists by encouraging and empowering her clients to build a solid foundation of faith and resilience. She understands that Life is a journey one must embark on with determination and purpose.
